Lake Lure Sunshine
March 4th, 2010 11:42 AM

It has been a long hard winter for a lot of people.  The weather has been extremely harsh and economically so many are struggling.

Lake Lure is a bright spot in all of this.  The sun is shining, the weather is getting better, and my daffodils have buds.  In the mountains you can still see a little snow but not for long.

If you have not been to Lake Lure, it is located in the Western North Carolina Mountains and as the word "lake" implies, there is a beautiful lake surrounded by beautiful mountains.

Come to Lake Lure to get away from it all.  I know you will fall in love with the area.

Now is a great time to buy real estate in Lake Lure.  I can help you do that.  There are some beautiful lots and homes that are just waiting for you.  Let me help you with your real estate needs.

Should a second home not be for you, how about a great time share.  We have great weeks available and I can help you with that too.

Once you visit Lake Lure you will want to come back.  Give me a call, 828-447-0147 or e-mail me ksamborski2@att.net and I can assist you with a long-term solution.

Have a great spring and hope to see you here

Is Spring Just Around the Corner in Lake Lure
January 18th, 2010 2:40 PM

I have lived here, in Lake Lure, for almost 9 years and never experienced the cold and snow that we had in December and early January.  Thought I had moved far enough south to get away from the frigid cold.

The good news is that we are now getting temperatures in the 50's and my daffodils are peaking through the ground.  Maybe I WILL make it through this winter afterall.

The golfers are back on the course and it won't be long before we see the fisherman out on the lake and maybe a water skier or two.

If you want to visit or live in one of the most beautiful places and where the people are super friendly, then come to Lake Lure.  I can show you real estate or even a timeshare that will allow you to make regular visits to Lake Lure.  Who know, maybe you will be like me and end up living here.

For your real estate needs, or for vacation timeshares, just contact me.

Happy Holidays From Lake Lure, NC
December 23rd, 2009 10:02 AM

Well it is not often that we have a white Christmas here in Lake Lure but this year we will, thanks to a snow storm that came in last Friday.  Everyone is busy shopping, baking and the kids are having a great time taking advantage of the snow.  It won't last long but that's okay with me.

I wish to all of you a very special holiday and that in 2010 you have good times and much joy.

If you decide to visit this awesome place, Lake Lure, let me know and I can show you some great real estate.  It's a great place to live or vacation in.  If you are considering a time share vacation I can even help you there.  We have some great weeks available for purchase.

Merry Christmas to ALL

Fall for Lake Lure
November 13th, 2009 2:51 PM

Fall is edging it's way out from Lake Lure but the weather is beautiful.  It is in the 70's today, the sun in shining and people are smiling.

Thanks to the effects of tropical storm Ida a lot of the leaves have fallen from the trees.  Some still have some great color but the peak is behind us.

There is no better place to be.

If you would like to find out what a great place this is then contact me.  I can show you vacant land or homes that will accommodate year around living or vacation homes.

Have a great weekend

Karen

Fall is creeping into Lake Lure, NC
September 9th, 2009 3:23 PM

The days are still warm, the nights are getting cooler, and the trees are losing their rich green color.  Fall is creeping into Lake Lure.

Fall is breathtaking in Lake Lure.  The height of the color changes does not really happen until mid-October but the process of going from summer to fall in Lake Lure is very enjoyable.

The sun is setting earlier and rising later.  Makes it harder to get up in the morning because it is still dark.

Apple season is in full swing in the mountains.  What a treat to get fresh apples from the apple farm and take your first bite.  Fresh apple sauce is always great to have and fun to make.

And you can't forget about all the squash and pumpkins.  Just ride down the road and take your pick of fresh fruit and vegetables.

If you would like to experience living in Lake Lure, I can help you find the right lot, your vacation home, or your new home.  I will assist you with all your real estate needs.  Just contact me at 828-447-0147 or ksamborski2@att.net.

Have a great fall and enjoy

Charter School in Lake Lure, NC
September 9th, 2009 3:12 PM

We are very excited.  Approval has been given to build a charter school in Lake Lure, NC.  Lake Lure Classical Academy will hopefully open in the fall of 2010.

Building in our community is a good thing especially when Lake Lure recognizes the need for good education.  Charter schools are becoming more and more popular.  They are an independent public school which is managed and funded by county school boards.  Enrollment is open to all students, even if they do not reside in Rutherford County,  with no discrimination or religious associations and there is no cost to the student.

If you are looking for a home or property in the Lake Lure area, I can help you.  Please contact me at 828-447-0147 or ksamborski2@att.net

Sharing Beautiful Lake Lure with Family
August 14th, 2009 4:54 PM

My grandkids recently visited us in Lake Lure.  They live in Massachusetts so we do not get to see them as often as we'd like.  They spent a lot of time on Lake Lure as well as at the pool and lazy river in Rumbling Bald Resort.

We had a grand time and I cannot wait until they come back for another visit.  As I was kissing my grandson goodnight, he whispered in my ear that he really likes it here.

Want to live in or have a second home in a place your grandkids will love to visit.  I can show you the great real estate we have available whether it be a home or vacant property.  Just contact me at 828-447-0147 or visit my web site at www.lakelurerealestateatitsbest.com a great weekend

Lake Adger in North Carolina Has It All
July 23rd, 2009 1:55 PM

As you may know, since I have said it often, I love living in Lake Lure, NC.  Having said that, there is another area within 15 minutes from Lake Lure that is worth taking a look at.

Lake Adger is located in Mill Spring, NC which is between Lake Lure and Columbus, NC.  It is a beautiful development on a 438 acre lake possessing natural beauty, privacy, scenic lake views and panoramic mountain views.  This great development has community marina's, parks, miles of walking paths and even equestrian trails.

If you want to get away from it all but still feel like you are at home, then Lake Adger may be for you.

There is a fantastic lake lot for sale on Lake Adger.  To get info about this lot, go to my website www.lakelurerealestateatitsbest.com and look under my listing.  I'd love to help you get away from it all.
