Halloween is this week and the weather in Lake Lure is slowly changing into fall.  There was ice on the pumpkins today and snow up in the higher elevations. Luckily, Lake Lure is located in an isothermal zone and we stay slightly warmer then other areas around us, so no frost for us.

The colors are beautiful is some areas but other areas still have a lot of green.  So you still have time to come and visit Lake Lure and enjoy fall.
